22nd September 2007, Saturday
Managed to attend the launching of the book called Journeys. A compilation of 20 stories taken from the 'Inspirations' competition. It was a truly outstanding event that touches everyone heart including my aunt and me.
Managed to see Lawson, Dijah, Atie A.K.A Rock Chick, Habib, Wahida, and Khairul.
It was a job well done I must say. It didn't go as bad as I expected. The Emcees, Saheera, my teddybear especially, was so dramatic and cool. She was born to be a comedian entertainer.
3 outstanding winner. Each has its own unique and talented ability to write. Fortunately, I had the chance to hear their life story. I was moved to tears when I actually listening to their story.
It was a nice and simple ceremony. Not too much hoopla and I think I liked it that way. Khairul was emerged the winner as the third place. His speech was more to those who had without the script. He said it out in an impromptu and a informal way. But abit nervous. I can sense that.
I was trying to listen to the words during the rap performance.Though I couldn't catch it all,I liked what I did hear and I knew that they were telling a story.
While they were talking to Mdm Salinah,I had to give the rappers props for what they did, for their style of writing cos it wasn't easy. Mdm Salinah was saying that she never really thought about it because it is hard to understand rap lyrics if you're not used to the lingo. But she did agree it was a form of great writing.
After that, the writers had a bit of fun getting each other's autograph. Lol. Some parents and teachers were there and they asked for our respective autographs too. It was kind of fun.I mean, I took it all in and went with the flow and it's not as if my ego was boosted or anything. Like, we just did it cos it was fun.
Thank God, his speech came after their performance and not following the really inspiring speakers that had come before, cos the people were in more of a relaxed mood and the atmosphere wasn't so serious.
I felt like I am a book idol. It's been quite some time I had been autographed by someone else. But this time its kind of different. I managed to get some autograph signature by some students.
Pictures taken, get a chat with them and lastly seen my former class section head, Mrs Lee.
Anisah, her mom, Daya and me headed down to Vivocity. Just window shopping and enjoy a wonderful view at Sentosa. We had dinner right after fasting period. We quickly rushed to look for a nice, splendid seat. Thinking its auspicious. We chose the right one. hahas.
After having our dinner, we took shots. I noticed that there were 5 unusual statues with different colours. Nice spot and its was somehow like a perfect spot to shoot at. Candid poses, formal poses. That's what photographers will do to make the perfect shoot. I mus say Daya is the one.
I mus say yesterday is the day we enjoyed. Oh by the way, Photos will be uploaded up soon.

As I Look into your eyes
I see all the reasons why
My life's worth a thousand skies
You're the simplest love I've known
and the purest one I'll own
no you'll never be alone
(chorus)
My baby you
Are the reason I could fly
And cause of you
I don't have to wonder why
Baby you
There's no more just getting by
You're the reason I feel so alive
Though these words I sing are true
They still fail to capture you
As mere words can only do
How do I explain that smile
And how it turns my world around
Keeping my feet on the ground
(chorus)
My baby you
Are the reason I could fly
And cause of you
I don't have to wonder why
Baby you
There's no more just getting by
You're the reason I feel so alive
I will soothe you if you fall
I'll be right there if you call
You're my greatest love of all
you are the reason i can fly and cause of u i dont have to wonder why
my baby you,
there's no more just getting by
cause you're the reason i feel so alive
Arriana I feel so alive...

Passing Out Parade Day
POP Lor!
Well my BMT days are over. The blood, sweat and tears, the fun and the joys that we had, hectic punishments, the trainings, the food and especially my friends, will gonna miss them.
So unforgettable.
The Passing Out Parade was some kind of stressful due to the weather condition. Very hot weather. But I could tolerate it. At first, the parade will last for about 3 hours, but due to some last minute changes, the parade now last for about 90 mins. God bless the recruits!
Well, to all muslims, happy fasting!
Some of my malay buddies have to wake up at 4am in the morning. That's the bad part during training. Lucikly, it's going to POP already and just nice to get the place out of there.
Once the parade going to end, we threw the cap to the sky. Before I threw, just in case i mistook for someone cap, I label it. Heehee!
We had so much fun. We cheer together, jumping up and down, pushing each other here and there! It's like a riot in the camp.
Here are some pictures for you to show:

Dear diary,
Picture stated on the left is my bunk mates. They are the best of the best!
I was looking forward to visiting back my old school days for the teachers day last two days ago. You would may call Teacher's Day Eve 2007! To my very disappointment, I could not be able to go because of my training for the Field Camp. My apologies to Habib, Sofia, Dijah and Khairul and especially Mdm Salinah.
Anyway to Mdm Salinah if you have read this post, I just wanna wish u a Happy Teacher's Day! Many hugs and Kisses!
So enough of the bad news. Let's go with the good news. People loves to hear the bad news first then go for the good news.
Considering my career at Army, I have been selected as ADF Driver. This 4th September, I will be signing a contract at the HQ Barracks. There will be panel of high ranking status officers like Master Sargeant and Brigade Commander. Enough said to elaborate on it. Once after I sign on the dotted line, I cannot back out.
